Calgary, Alberta – The 2020 Calgary Stampede might be cancelled, but the community spirit lives on strong, thanks to Balwant Singh and his team at A&W in Auburn Bay.
This is the second year that popular establishment, located at Auburn Station, will host its FREE Stampede to-go breakfast.
The event, which is expected to attract scores of local families, will be held on Sunday, July 19/2020 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM (while supplies last).
Singh assures everyone that healthy and safety is always top of mind at his restaurant. All staff will be wearing masks and gloves while handing out pancakes, pop, and water, and everyone is required to follow social distancing rules. As well, social distancing markers will be clearly marked, so make sure you follow the arrows.
“We are very excited to host our second annual FREE Stampede to-go breakfast,” says Singh, who is a well-known entrepreneur in the city. Singh also owns three Shell Gas Stations and is committed to philanthropy for a large number of organizations and causes. “Every major event locally and internationally has been cancelled in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, and with things slowly opening back up, we are really excited to bring our community together. Everyone will enjoy the good food, company, and lots of laughs. This event is about the community and its about putting smiles on people’s faces.”
The morning will have lots of fun highlights too. Tom Kmiec and Matt Jones will be there to help serve up pancakes.
But wait, to make the event extra special, Dynasty Cheer AllStars and Spider-Man will be dropping in for a visit.
